Use This When Meditation Fails – Holosync

holosync meditational tool

Holosync has been said to create experiences anywhere along the emotion spectrum between relaxation and “mind-blowing,” If you haven’t already heard, Holosync is a series of programs designed to help users achieve  certain mental states using sound.

The way that this works, according to science and Holosync enthusiasts, is by creating pulsing sounds, which started as a form of brainwave entrainment.

These pulsing sounds stimulate the brains “frequency  following response.”

One of the most popular forms of brainwave entrainment is binaural beats recordings.

Holosync Sounds

This pulsing in the music,, essentially forces the brain to succumb to the frequency of a given beat. In other words, the music guides the brain into a  desired state.

Numerous studies have been done on how meditation  affects the brain , and there have been a growing number of reports in recent years, creating a buzz about the benefits of Holosync.

Hopefully this post will show you why you should try this powerful technique, and more importantly, why the “hype” about brainwave entertainment… is something more and more people are finding out is anything but hype!

The History of Brainwave Entertainment

Brainwave entertainment can be traced back to the Bronze Age, when the ancient Greeks would use spinning wheels to make the sunlight flicker, inducing altered states of consciousness.

One of the most common and widely known about instances of brainwave entertainment can be contributed to the monks that meditate using sound to deepen their meditative state.

I bring this up simply because some of the states being achieved by people using Holosync actually mimic the meditative states of Tibetan monks.

Not only have the monks achieved states of enlightenment, but they also use other techniques, such as breathing to allure their senses and guide their brains into deepened perceptual and cognitive states as well.

Brainwave entertainment has been becoming increasingly popular as a powerful tool for meditation since the early 1970s.

The reason for this, is because the people that have been incorporating sounds into their meditation technqiues have become more and more verbal about the benefits of doing so.

There are people that have been using sound in their meditation arsenal for years, and most of them swear by it and won’t change back.

This can only bring us to draw one conclusion from all the hype. And that is that it works!

Benefits of Meditation

How meditation affects the brain  has been studied by numerous parties in the past.

In a study by UCLA, published on the Frontiers in Psychology website back in January 2015, meditation affects the brain in ways that many people never would’ve guessed.

Aside from rejuvenation and anti-aging qualities, meditation has also been known to increase mental focus, peak cognitive skills, and even induced trance like states of enlightenment.

Final Thoughts

In the end, it’s up to you what you want to incorporate into your meditative tool pouch.

One thing we can tell you, is that if meditation helps the aging parts of your brain that normally start to deteriorate after the first two decades of use, then we’re all for it.

We found this information interesting enough to want to share, and we will be incorporating Holosync meditation techniques into our own meditation practices to see if we love it as much as some of the reports we’ve heard online about it.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Take care!

Healing The Body

There are many studies that have shown how the power of meditation can even heal your body.

There are even specific guided meditations created just to heal your body when are sick.

There have been many findings on the connection between the mind and body for healing including the book, The Biology of Belief, by Dr. Bruce Lipton.

Brainwave Entrainment

Brainwave Entrainment is another form of meditation that uses sound, and sometimes light waves, to stimulate the brain.

This helps to train your brain to work on a different frequency then what it is currently operating on.

You should be careful using this technique however if you are prone to seizures.

Brainwave entrainment is a great way to enter the meditative state without having to practice different meditation techniques. I’ve included this video on the website so you can try this tool for yourself.

 How Meditation Effects The Brain

Your brain is like a supercomputer. Only it never gets shut off. There is no re-boot. There is no reset. It runs 24 hours a day 7 days a week for your entire life.

That’s a lot of running time!

Meditation allows you to calm your brain even if it is only for moments at a time.

It is during this calm or slow time for your brain that you can put things in focus or receive clarity.

This allows you to reduce stress and be more productive as well.

Meditation Techniques

You can meditate at any time and in any place.

The easiest way to meditate is to sit in a chair with your feet on the floor and your hands in your lap.

Next, close your eyes and take a deep breath in and a long breath out. Repeat this over and over as you start to relax.

Next, try to think of nothing. This can mean different things to different people.

As thoughts start to come into your mind simple put them in a mental box and save them for later.

If you are having trouble with this, you can try to focus on simple breathing in and out as you feel comfortable.

Start with just 5 minutes and then add time to that each day until you can build your meditation practice. In the beginning, you may find you fall asleep during meditation.

That is ok!

It is just your brain learning this technique. In time, you will be able to meditate without falling asleep.

Meditation Tools

Technically, you don’t need anything to meditate. However, there are some amazing tools you can use to help you.

There are also many online communities that can help give you access to other people who meditate and can recommend different resources to you as you have questions.
