Holosync has been said to create experiences anywhere along the emotion spectrum between relaxation and “mind-blowing,” If you haven’t already heard, Holosync is a series of programs designed to help users achieve certain mental states using sound.
The way that this works, according to science and Holosync enthusiasts, is by creating pulsing sounds, which started as a form of brainwave entrainment.
These pulsing sounds stimulate the brains “frequency following response.”
One of the most popular forms of brainwave entrainment is binaural beats recordings.
This pulsing in the music,, essentially forces the brain to succumb to the frequency of a given beat. In other words, the music guides the brain into a desired state.
Hopefully this post will show you why you should try this powerful technique, and more importantly, why the “hype” about brainwave entertainment… is something more and more people are finding out is anything but hype!
The History of Brainwave Entertainment
Brainwave entertainment can be traced back to the Bronze Age, when the ancient Greeks would use spinning wheels to make the sunlight flicker, inducing altered states of consciousness.
One of the most common and widely known about instances of brainwave entertainment can be contributed to the monks that meditate using sound to deepen their meditative state.
I bring this up simply because some of the states being achieved by people using Holosync actually mimic the meditative states of Tibetan monks.
Not only have the monks achieved states of enlightenment, but they also use other techniques, such as breathing to allure their senses and guide their brains into deepened perceptual and cognitive states as well.
Brainwave entertainment has been becoming increasingly popular as a powerful tool for meditation since the early 1970s.
The reason for this, is because the people that have been incorporating sounds into their meditation technqiues have become more and more verbal about the benefits of doing so.
There are people that have been using sound in their meditation arsenal for years, and most of them swear by it and won’t change back.
This can only bring us to draw one conclusion from all the hype. And that is that it works!
Benefits of Meditation
How meditation affects the brain has been studied by numerous parties in the past.
In a study by UCLA, published on the Frontiers in Psychology website back in January 2015, meditation affects the brain in ways that many people never would’ve guessed.
Aside from rejuvenation and anti-aging qualities, meditation has also been known to increase mental focus, peak cognitive skills, and even induced trance like states of enlightenment.
In the end, it’s up to you what you want to incorporate into your meditative tool pouch.
One thing we can tell you, is that if meditation helps the aging parts of your brain that normally start to deteriorate after the first two decades of use, then we’re all for it.
We found this information interesting enough to want to share, and we will be incorporating Holosync meditation techniques into our own meditation practices to see if we love it as much as some of the reports we’ve heard online about it.
I hope you enjoyed this post! Take care!
